When publishing a site through Webydo, instead of using the image file name that I've given to an image, the website changes the name to something like images8.webydo.com...
We should be able to change this so that the file name I've given gets used in the source code.15 votes
Thank you for your suggestion!
Hello, I'm a new starter.
I wonder if a site/body border effect achievable or not. Like this site: https://www.beoplay.com/
There's a white border around the whole site. I think it's a pretty feature.
Thank you!4 votes
Thank you for your idea!
This functionality HAS TO BE INCLUDED AS STANDARD.
I can't believe this is not standard. I've just created a Bio page with 920+ words and the page looks ridiculous (TALL) compare to the other rest of the site.
There is no way I should be looking for an external widget to do this of BASIC, BASIC FUNCTION.
I look forward to your reply with positive anticipation.
That’s a thought. Lets turn to our community to see if they agree.
I'm assigning a link to an image. I'd like target to open in a new tab. considering that we all want to keep prospective customers on the sites we're making, this seems like a universally desirable capability.4 votes
That’s a great idea, we’ll look into it while the community votes.
Thanks for the suggestion, keep submitting ideas!
provide ability to make a text box have multiple columns11 votes
That’s a thought. Lets turn to our community for some instant feedback.
In the meantime, have you tried adjusting the table, available as part of the text element feature, to this functionality? Utilizing it can address some of your needs. We would love to hear more about your experience.
can I change the speed that anchor scrolling the page?
I think the scrolling speed is too slowly23 votes
Hi Kepler Wu,
The anchor scrolling speed can not be altered yet, but this is a great idea.
Let’s see what the community has to say about this.
Wouldn't it be great to have a Webydo Desktop Application, where you can build your website offline and then log in to your Webydo account to upload it there?
Some of us do not have reliable broadband to build websites online (especially those of us in remote areas.)
I'm presently in Africa, and the challenges here wont allow me to have enough online time to build the ideal Webydo website that I'm looking forward to building.
Im hoping that the Webydo team would look into this and make it a reality.668 votes
As a designer a lot of planning goes into a design. It would be nice to have a wire frame options before the design tab as part of my work flow.8 votes
Thanks for the idea David!
Let’s see what the community has to say on this one.
A library where you would be able to choose from a selection of stock images to use on your site.2 votes
This is a good idea!
We are actually looking for some integration, just like the one you suggested.
Let’s see how this goes…
Today shadow only works on the boxes around the text.77 votes
Hey Webydo team,
It would be great to have two mobile apps -
With our designers's dashboard - so we can allocate CMS permission, set site settings, ext, on the go.
A CMS app - for quick content update of our clients' sites. The CMS app can be used by ourselves or by the clients themselves.
It would be great if I can get notifications whenever my clients make content changes.
What do you guys think?242 votes
Thanks T.J. for your great idea!
We will gather as much feedback as we can on this feature.
When we have all the info we need, we will send it to production.
Lets see what the community thinks about the idea. As our development plan is based on the community’s votes, we will be watching the vote count on this one too.
Will be nice to have CAPTCHA (http://www.captcha.net/), or something similar to the form element.
SPAM filters are pretty common for forms, and a feature expected by most clients.
Thank you for the good idea!
Adding CAPTCHA (an acronym for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") to the forms seems like the natural next step.
Thanks for the good feedback, we hope this feature’s development will be encouraged by the community’s voting.
Keep sharing your ideas with us! Things are getting more and more exciting here…
Would be awesome to have the ability for the background image slides to different background image. Would more awesome if video background is possible to be added as the page background.248 votes
Pretty much every site-building software includes the option of adding a calendar. Do you have it? I looked around and couldn't find it. Wix allows for the inclusion of a Google calendar. Not sure about Weebly. What about Webydo?72 votes
Would like to have a news stroller element with the common features like stop and resume scrolling in mouse rollover.17 votes
A news ticker is a great idea!
Let’s see what the community has to say about it.
Can I port the data that is collected by forms out of Webydo? Can I automate that? Currently it does't appear so, and obviously that is important to me.
I would love to be able to automate form submissions into a Google Docs spreadsheet or similar.
Is there a way to click on an image and have a different image show up in the pop up?1 vote
Thank you for this suggestion, we will look into adding this feature for our next image update.
Do you have any further information regarding a German version of Webydo? Thanks for the answer.2 votes
We looked into adding the German language for the Webydo Studio but ran into a few issues. It was decided that only Russian, Spanish and Chinese would get added and other languages may be added in the future.
We will look into adding German in the future.
We should be able to link a button to a file instead of only being able to link text to a file. I want my customer to be able to download a pdf file after clicking on a button I created.1 vote
Thank you for your suggestion. We will look into adding the ability to upload file links to all elements within the Webydo Elements Panel.
In the meantime, we have a solution for you:
The option for link to file is only available via the text element, however there is a way around this. When using the Text Element once your file us uploaded a new URL is generated. Use this as your link with any other element!
1. Within the text-box, mark the text you would like to link and click the Link icon on the top menu.
2. Select the File option from the dropdown menu in the Link To field.
3. Choose and Upload your File
4. Copy the URL generated for your file link
5. Use this URL for any other element to link
If I have a vertical menu and then decide I want to change to horizontal, I have to delete my menu and then drag a new one out and reformat all my styling options again.1 vote
