Password-Protect Website (Not Just Pages) and Allow Login Page Customization
Right now you have to password-protect individual pages, so if you want to secure the whole site, you have to log into every single page. This isn't practical. Should be able to password-protect the whole website, so that the whole site is behind one login page that a visitor only has to log into once.
Also, the login page is too basic. Should be able to customise it with colors, elements, logos, etc., to match the site, just like you can customize the 494 Error pages.
Thanks.

Multiple Login Users for Password-Protected Pages
Each website should be able to assign usernames and passwords to multiple users AND also have OpenID support for login using Google, Facebook, Disqus, Twitter, etc. Just being able to assign one username and password doesn't work for most client companies.
Thanks.

German version?
Do you have any further information regarding a German version of Webydo? Thanks for the answer.
2 votesWe looked into adding the German language for the Webydo Studio but ran into a few issues. It was decided that only Russian, Spanish and Chinese would get added and other languages may be added in the future.
We will look into adding German in the future.

images
Galleries neat to be more efficient...
1.-The Galleries should maintain and respect the images name assigned to them, and not change it to something like... images8.webydo.com/94/94
I think this does not contribute to the seo of the sites
2.- Some galleries should have more use options, I want to say that I would like to have more control on how the image and the text are displayed.

Renaming Images
When publishing a site through Webydo, instead of using the image file name that I've given to an image, the website changes the name to something like images8.webydo.com...
We should be able to change this so that the file name I've given gets used in the source code.

exportable site including images !
Everytime I export a site there is images missing. It would be great to export a site with all the images in the site :)
3 votesAll site exports include everything you need to host the website on your own server.
Images in Image and Section/Shape elements get added to a folder within the export.
Images in the Media Galleries are coded in and require your site to be hosted in order to see them.
If you believe that your export was missing pages or information, please contact support@webydo.com and we can get you a new export.

The site border (around entire browser window) available?
Hello, I'm a new starter.
I wonder if a site/body border effect achievable or not. Like this site: https://www.beoplay.com/
There's a white border around the whole site. I think it's a pretty feature.
Thank you!

Link a Button to a file
We should be able to link a button to a file instead of only being able to link text to a file. I want my customer to be able to download a pdf file after clicking on a button I created.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion. We will look into adding the ability to upload file links to all elements within the Webydo Elements Panel.
In the meantime, we have a solution for you:
The option for link to file is only available via the text element, however there is a way around this. When using the Text Element once your file us uploaded a new URL is generated. Use this as your link with any other element!
1. Within the text-box, mark the text you would like to link and click the Link icon on the top menu.
2. Select the File option from the dropdown menu in the Link To field.
3. Choose and Upload your File
4. Copy the URL generated for your file link
5. Use this URL for any other element to link -
PDF BUTTON
Sometimes we need, or our clients need a pdf or rpint button.
1 voteThis can actually be done :)
First you will need to create the PDF link – using our text element.
1. Link text within the text element to a file
2. Copy the URL generated after uploading your PDF
3. Select your button element
4. Link it to your URLIf you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support department!

Ability to change a menu without having to completely reformat it
If I have a vertical menu and then decide I want to change to horizontal, I have to delete my menu and then drag a new one out and reformat all my styling options again.

To be able to style the menu backgrounds independently from the top level
Meaning, you can have a transparent (no background) on the top level, but then have a color background on the drop downs. This is NECESSARY all the time, because the drop downs can get lost on top of an image or color that may appear lower on the page. By having them style together, you have to break your page design - so people can see the text in the drop down menus. So frustrating .
8 votesUntil we do develop this ability, I would recommend trying the following trick:
Create a solid color image that will be used as the “background color”.
Add the image as an icon to the pages you wish to contain a background – In the “Pages & Navigation” panel.
In the menu, choose to display icons centered.
Please let us know if this works for you, as we know this is not an “elegant” solution…
Thanks you.

better image integration in sliders
Give the same option of align center-top a photo inside a slider component. The cover option tends to crop heads off people in photos at desktop resolutions.

Bugs & Transferring sites
Transfer websites between accounts. From one subscribed account to another subscribed account. I'm currently building on my friends profile because I can't afford it yet, but once I can, I'd like to be able to transfer my work.
Mainly the builder is amazing!! There are just a few bugs that could be squashed1 voteThanks for the feedback.
If you want to transfer your site between accounts, just contact your account manager or support, and they will do it for you.

1 voteHi, could you please elaborate further?

Full text control - superscript, subscript and small caps
We work for specialist clients such as scientists and high-end publishers where these details are essential; superscript is the difference between 'two squared' and 22! They are easily achieved with HTML tags, but of course, we can't custom-code individual characters in Webydo, so can these simple features be added alongside things like itals and bold?
Alternatively, could we be able to custom-code individual characters somehow? I imagine this would be fundamentally more difficult to achieve though.
7 votesHi Emma, thanks for reaching out.
Thanks for the feedback, we will take this under consideration in our roadmap meetings. In the meantime, you may use the “HTML Element” to add by code all that you are not able to do with the elements in the panel.
I suggest you contact your account manager (or support), to help you with the code.
