I would like to see a JQuery Masonry type grid that can be controlled either by the Webydo interface (insert Image or Gallery) or a external JSON file.. I have had my clients request this feature, due to the fact many have data-based driven API all ready in place.15 votes
Thanks for the feedback, this is a good idea.
We will review it.
Let’s see what the community has to say.
Having this option allows us to create good looking landing pages. Having a gallery or a video running on background is something commonly used. The problem with webydo is that it can only be applied for certain resolutions(because of the pixel option). Having an option to set image/video/shape height in percentage will create more flexibility.15 votes
This is a great idea.
Let’s get the votes now!
It would be great to apply a full skin to the video player.15 votes
Great idea Eldoc!
If the idea gets enough votes, it will be sent to the top of our development road-map.
As of today, all forms are sent by email@example.com. This requires to copy/paste the sender's email when we reply to the message we received through our web site.
It would be much more handy if one of the form fields could be selected as "use this field as sender's email" and receive the email directly from that address. This would allow a very quick reply, just by hitting the REPLY button in any email program.14 votes
Is it possible to tweak the Matrix Gallery Thumbnails so that landscape images aren't 'squeezed' into a square (i.e. constrain proportions)? The odd appearance that squeezed images create spoils the look of the galley and is very amateurish.14 votes
Thanks for your feedback. Be sure we will examine your request and consider the options derives from it.
Analytics widget. Like squarespace for example!14 votes
Button hover effect for FORM. this is a MUST HAVE for conversion. i dont get it. why isn't this simple effect isn't available? i find this disappointing for such a basic effect missing. please make it happen soon.13 votes
No doubt that this is a basic feature that we don’t have. And no doubt it is disappointing.
I’ve added this idea to our queue and upvoted on your behalf.
I suggest to have an spanish version .

Let's say I want that the elements in the menu that has a dropdown have an icon in one of the sides. Instead of adding an image to each, resize it, and make it fit between the space, would be cool to have an option to place an image or content before or after the menu elements. As well to choose on wich ones, or if on the ones that have dropdown. Ie. an icon like: ▽ ..13 votes
Thanks for the feedback Ivan!
We will take this in to consideration for our next updates.
Currently everytime you tweak an effect you need to click on the preview tab. A live, real-time refresh/preview within Design mode would be great.13 votes
This is a really good idea.
It would make it easier to design this way.
The gallery slider is nice but it would be good to have more options, rather than just fade in and out of white, i.e. blend from one picture to the next. Not only the Nivo Slider someone else suggested (but that too!), but simple fade-in as you can see, for example, at www.neb.com13 votes
Thanks for the idea! We will take this in consideration for the next update.
Make a Cms version so Web host can use a awesome website builder like this.
- A Hosting Company
Individual client wish lists, so repeat visitors can register to have an individual page with unique password login where they can store, review and remove articles they select from site content. Like an Amazon wish list or a lightbox for a photography site or a watch list. Great for e-commerce, real estate etc. Large sites have these as fully integrated but if this was not possible would not mind setting these up on form request.13 votes
Thanks for the feedback!
I suggest a solution to reply directly at the visitors when they send a form.
And the possibility to change the object text.
In this way we can set an automatic reply directly to our visitors.13 votes
Thanks for the idea!
We will check it out and add it to our development roadmap.
Allow for automatic Mobile and tablet setups like a squarespace that you can then go in and change to your liking.12 votes
This is a great idea.
Until then, try using the Automatic Layout & Drag Handle Tools:
I've created dynamic pages of content using your article feature. If my client adds content on a daily basis and one of the articles was required to be a link on another web site. How do you get the dynamic url of that specific article? I've looked everywhere and can't find it so can I suggest this becomes available?
I love working on this platform and I'm really pleased with the results so far.
Create a "Fit to Above-The-Fold" Option. This would make an element responsive to the screen size.12 votes
This is a great idea Gyles.
It would be very interesting to figure out how to provide this ability, with an easy-to-use interface.
I would be happy to hear ideas.
fit to with for google maps12 votes
Thanks for the idea Gabriel!
This is a good idea indeed. Having elements full width is very important today, and widgets should also be able to do this.
We will add this to our To-Do list.
We will keep you updated with any news.
When a page looks finished, but you 'd still like to add a few things, just underneith the title...
It would come in handy, if you could click on the line number (left hand side), and insert new lines (like you do in an exel-file)
Right now, the only way is to move everything on the page down. Even grouped bit by bit, a page from over 5000 lines takes quite some time...10 votes
Thanks for the idea Peter,
You are absolutely right, it is really not “fun” moving all your elements like that.
We are looking for solutions for this issue, and I hope the right solution will be found and developed ASAP.
We will keep you updated on this for any news.
