  1. Eyedropper

Hey guys, it would be extremely helpful to have an eyedropper in order to sample color for best on-site match of our design.

Thanks a lot for the splendid work. I love working on Webydo.

    Cheers!

    • Rotate text/images

I'd like the ability to rotate my pics or text, can we do this in Webydo, I cannot in Wix.

      • High Definition Graphics & Retina Images

Integrate ability to display high-definition graphics on current and future high definition displays. For example, Apple's MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

Seems to me like this will be a standard in the very near future. The idea that designers and clients with these displays see blurry images or logos bothersome. Perhaps the backend detects the display and replaces logo or other graphics with their high definition display.

Possible incorporation of SVG files to automatically adjust size as needed per display?

        • Tablet landscape additional breakpoint

It's really bugging me that I have to design my desktop site around how it views landscape on an iPad. When using text elements there is no control over how they reflow in desktop/ iPad landscape mode. This means I have to position things in places that look wrong and misaligned on a PC desktop view, but right on landscape iPad view. So what about creating an iPad landscape responsive option too?

            Hi There,

Enhancing the responsive feature by adding breakpoints and enabling their adjustment is a great idea.

Promoting it depends on our community votes and comment. So let’s see how our users will respond to this idea.

          • Add / Edit HTML Code of actual element or widget

I am not wanting to edit or add to the overall core/raw html code of the Webydo Design. But it would be nice to have a button "Edit Html" on the DesignPanel that will allows you to view/edit the actual element/widget's HTML tag and add code to it.

The perfect example for this feature is. . . at the moment there is NO way to name the ID of the Iframe Widget and with the limited options of "TARGET" linking with images, text, menus etc it makes it impossible to add an additional link to have it view (when clicked)…

              Hi Matthew,

This is a great idea (as well as clearly explained feature) – and be sure we will look into it. In the meantime, let’s also see if it gets more votes and comments from the community.

            • Multi-Language (multi-site) plugin.

How about a way to add multiple languages to ONE site, as a translation? You all know the sites that have small flags at the top, right? All it takes is to add a function that basically clones the site and shows you the right one regarding which language you want to see! Making it possible to give your client a website with multiple languages at the same time. I've used tons of wordpress plugins that do this, but mostly use the multi-site feature nowadays.

              • Anchor linking to a section on a different page

Adding this function is a simple piece of html code which I've added in the past.

Especially useful for a footer which has a site map list on it. or used on feature article which could to link to exact position of more info on another page.

                Thanks for listening.

                • Add Spellchecker

                  Hey guys,

Would be great to have a spellchecker on both the design and the content canvases (for the CMS user too..).

Save us from ourselves, mispelling can be quite a disaster... :)

                  Thanks...

                  • Parralex needs an upgrade!

The parralex feature is great, but.... responsiveness is a ****. Every change you make on desktop or mobile influence all other views. And as every view has a different pixel rate it triggers wrong. Also the positions move out of screen. It is not workable. Only when you copy every parralex item for every view and adjust them accordingly.

Also when your updating: please add other transitions as well, like 'mouse over' And on click.

The famous large menu bar which shrinks when scrolled down 'and' stays on top (fixed) is not possible.

For an 'On click' feature. Pull down/open…

                      Hi Ruben,

Awesome stuff you’ve got there! Each and every idea would upgrade any website built with Webydo.

We actually intend focusing on transitions, motions and interactions further down the road. So let’s consult with the rest of the community and get for some instant feedback.

                    • Hiding the .html ending in links (on the website)

It would look cleaner and better if we could simply hide the .html ending.

                        Hi everyone.
It seems that the development of HTML removal will be delayed, as other features with higher votes are being developed first.

Keep voting for this idea in order to ensure it will be added to the development plans as soon as possible.

                        • Design in Mobile view first

Great work in putting the different views in the design platform - desktop/tablet & mobile views.

However, it would be nice to have the option to swap directions in terms of what view you want to start designing your website at. For example, at the moment, you have to start your design in desktop and go down. You can not start at mobile view and make your way up. Isn't mobile and tablet view now more important than desktop/laptop view?

You're on the right track, but if we could go just that little bit further in making Webydo a really…

It would be useful if users could attach documents (e.g. Word, pdf, photos) to forms, for example if they are complaining about a product they might want to upload a picture or a filled out troubleshooting form. Ooh! Much like the "Attach a File" link I see at the bottom of this very text entry field!

Although it's a great service, the editor I'm afraid isn't exactly WYSIWYG, so a little more work and refinement is needed there. I have problems when moving from page-to-page within the editor. Some elements move out of place and guides go missing or move to another part of the page. Tables are a bit of a nightmare.

Preview does not show tables correctly, and you have…

                                  • Control Speed of OVERALL Page Scrolling?

I notice that when I 'publish' my site (so I can see how utilizing my keyboard's Arrow keys affects my Parallax Scrolling effects – you can't achieve this within the 'Preview' state of your site's design) that I seem to be moving down through my page awfully fast.

Might there be some way to build in some sort of scripting in order to slow the page's scrolling when a viewer uses their keyboard arrows to move through the content here? (I can send/give you the 'Publish' address if you'd like to see what I mean.)

                                    • Anchor links - Enhanced Usability

I think it'd be very useful if You could use Anchor links as a main menu functionality. What I mean by this is say you have a big scrolling homepage, but you want to link to a separate page for a contact us, and another page for a shopping cart. Or a Blog for example. Then if you are using Anchor links for the main menu, as soon as you click off to a different page, the links stop working. Currently they are designed to only work on the page the links are. It'd be AMAZING, if the links could…

                                        Hi Nathan,

Great thinking! Lets hear from the rest of our community, and prioritise the development of a designated feature according to it. In the meantime, you can achieve this functionality using a simple hack:

Step 1: Publish your site and navigate to the page you’d like to link to

Step 2: Find the target element you’d like to use as an anchor link and highlight it

Step 4: Right-click your mouse and select “Inspect Elements” (Chrome & Firefox) and find the element name (div ID), separated by quotation marks from the code. A typical name would be innerImage45__Image45, innerText32__Text32 etc.

Step 4: Create a new Url combining the page full URL followed by # and the div ID. A typical URL would be http://domainname.com/#innerImage62__Image62

Step 5: Add link to your menu, define it as “External Link” and link it to the URL you have created

                                        If you need any…

                                      • I'd like to see the ability to create images with an image rollover state (a different image) and even an active state with a third image.

                                        • Site paddind at the top

I wish to have some padding at the top op the site
so that the site will look like its floating on the BG and not
                                          "stuk" at the top

                                            This is a great idea!
                                            We like it very much.

Hopefully, this feature will gather enough votes, so it will be moved to the top of the priority list for the development team.
