Wouldn't it be great to have a Webydo Desktop Application, where you can build your website offline and then log in to your Webydo account to upload it there?
Some of us do not have reliable broadband to build websites online (especially those of us in remote areas.)
I'm presently in Africa, and the challenges here wont allow me to have enough online time to build the ideal Webydo website that I'm looking forward to building.
Im hoping that the Webydo team would look into this and make it a reality.667 votes
Many, if not most, people have existing sites. So it would be extremely helpful for them and the growth of Webydo if there was a way to import sites built with other CMSes such as WordPress. For Webydo to prosper (survive?) it needs to be much easier to "switch" to Webydo from other CMSes.418 votes
Thanks for the feedback Scott!
We like the idea, and we will give it some thought.
Let’s see what the community has to say about this option too.
page transitions!!253 votes
Hi, thanks for the idea.
Should be sweet to have control over the page transitions!
As our development plan is based on the community’s votes, we will be watching the vote count on this one too.
Would be awesome to have the ability for the background image slides to different background image. Would more awesome if video background is possible to be added as the page background.247 votes
Thanks for the feedback!
We are currently developing many new features for the gallery slider element.
One of them is the option to make it fit to the background of the site.
Hopefully this will be ready in a couple of days.
Hey Webydo team,
It would be great to have two mobile apps -
1. With our designers's dashboard - so we can allocate CMS permission, set site settings, ext, on the go.
2. A CMS app - for quick content update of our clients' sites. The CMS app can be used by ourselves or by the clients themselves.
It would be great if I can get notifications whenever my clients make content changes.
What do you guys think?239 votes
Thanks T.J. for your great idea!
We will gather as much feedback as we can on this feature.
When we have all the info we need, we will send it to production.
Lets see what the community thinks about the idea. As our development plan is based on the community’s votes, we will be watching the vote count on this one too.
Support OpenID login.
I've seen several users mention about supporting viewers to login to sites which is an excellent idea.
On the back of this, Both Webydo designers/users and website viewers should be allowed to login with their openID.
Supporting such sites as:
There is a bit of great work going on over here : https://code.google.com/p/openid-selector/ : which I believe supplies a whole bunch of OpenID logins support under one JS package.136 votes
Thanks for the feedback.
Will be nice to have CAPTCHA (http://www.captcha.net/), or something similar to the form element.
SPAM filters are pretty common for forms, and a feature expected by most clients.
Thank you for the good idea!
Adding CAPTCHA (an acronym for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") to the forms seems like the natural next step.
Thanks for the good feedback, we hope this feature’s development will be encouraged by the community’s voting.
Keep sharing your ideas with us! Things are getting more and more exciting here…
Being able to deploy a mega-menu on a hover. More textually, enable to have a box of content when an item menu is hovered, instead of only another menu link. As in, I could expand that menu box to 300px, and put content there.133 votes
Thanks for the ideas!
We will check it out and add it to our development roadmap.

That’s a good idea, we’ll look into it.
Thank you for the suggestion, don’t hesitate to send us more ideas!

Pretty much every site-building software includes the option of adding a calendar. Do you have it? I looked around and couldn't find it. Wix allows for the inclusion of a Google calendar. Not sure about Weebly. What about Webydo?69 votes
Thanks J.J. for your great idea!
We will sure need to add the Google Calendar as a widget.
But in the meantime, here’s how to embed your Google Calendar on your website:
1. Go to Google Calendar.
In the calendar list on the left, click the down-arrow next to the calendar you want to embed, and select Calendar settings. (Alternatively, click the Settings link at the bottom of the calendar list, then click the name of the calendar.)
Copy the iframe code displayed in the Embed This Calendar section.
2 .Go to Webydo
On the top menu, click on the Widget tool and then on “HTML”. Paste the code and that’s it.
Hopefully, we will add Google Calendar as an integral Webydo widget soon.
It seems that you're locked into a Webydo theme once you select it for your site. That's a pretty frustrating issue. Most other hosted CMSes make it pretty easy to try out and switch between themes.69 votes
Our “themes” are used as a starting point, for your inspiration. They are not templates.
You may edit every single pixel in them, so changing the “theme” is not really an option.
Anyway, let’s hear what the community thinks. If it get’s enough votes, we will develop it!
Certain websites have already made website templates. Which you are able to download. It would be awesome if you had the option to upload those and then be able to customize it from within webydo.67 votes

That’s a really cool menu, it will be a great addition to the Studio, thanks for showing this to us.
Now lets see what the community thinks.
A split second delay that keeps the menu up for half a second or so despite moving the cursor away.
For the people who don't have gamer mouse control!

Thanks for the feedback!
Menu bars can currently go left to right or right to left, but they can't be centered.57 votes
Change the way the export site folder structure is delivered just in the way that everything is exported under one root folder - as on the real life host server environment - and to be able to just upload the exported folder structure to the host server up and working without need to make internal link renaming which is now needed to make the site work and it is an annoyance that is not really necessary.55 votes
Thank you for this feedback. Let’s turn to our community to see if they agree.
can you add font awesome to list below google fonts so font icons can be used, speeding up design and load times54 votes
Font awesome is really awesome!
We will look into this, and see how we may incorporate icon fonts as a feature.
We will keep you updated on this for any news.
