Mobile and tablet preview
How about three preview modes, desktop, tablet and mobile. This way you will instantly see how your design is looking across all devices and amend it accordingly?

We’re happy to announce that the brand new mobile/tablet editor is now available for all users!
With the new editor, you can fine tune your mobile/tablet version of your website using the various customization options. These options allow you to change the scale of items, move features around, hide content and change the overall design of the mobile/tablet website, to provide as great an experience on mobile as possible.
Edit content from just one place!
Changes made by the CMS users to the content on the desktop version of these sites are reflected within the mobile versions as well.
This means that your content manager will continue editing the site as he always did.
The mobile editor is now available in beta mode.
So please, feel free to send us as much feedback as you can, so we can continue to add more features to it.
Hope you will like it!

I've tried this feature and basically your just re-building the site all over again 3 more times, tablet, mobile portrait and landscape.
Yes, you have total control, but it would take weeks on a large site.
Certainly has me thinking of using another platform or going back to hand-coding.

Everything as been said about this mobile/tablet editor... very weak and very basic... I'm seriously thinking about using another platform we realy needs this.

Hi Nir,
You probably know http://www.dudamobile.com/ ? Building a mobile site with them looks like a cinch. I would love webydo to have the same or better functionalities for designing mobile sites. . . -

I need to remove the background images on the mobile site aand replace them with a dark grey background colour. Only on the mobile site.

I don´t like the mobile editor. The beta version has some kinks. We need something easy to use. I can´t put text over images. When are you coming out with a new responsive platform??

This beta version leaves much to be desired. It should offer more customization options, similar to the desktop version. You should be able to use drag and drop to reposition items. There should be options to edit links and images, as well as text boxes. There should also be individual page views for all the pages on whichever site you are editing mobile, so that you can see how each page and link function in that mode.
Bottom line, there need to be more options that have more capabilities for designers to edit the mobile versions. -

Any further forward with this Webydo? Laptop/desktops will be a thing of the past and with us being in 2014, you really should have a viable mobile/tablet option.

Hi,
Like many other people have said, "mobile view" amd tablet" view friendly should now be more important than a desktop view. This is how people view websites. They don't wait to get home to the desktop or open a laptop. They jump on their mobile or tablet to look at what they want. Webydo can you please focus a bit more on this issue, as I think right now it seems to be getting over looked.....START THINKING MOBILE AND TABLET FRIENDLY!
Your on the right track, but like other designers have said, it needs a bit more work in order to function effectively. Cheers -

When will the mobile version be updated so that our clients are not being directed away from our custom URL?

I think that it's great that you're making mobile and tablet versions available however the beta version is very buggy and in my opinion, unusable for my clients. I'm disappointed that your features section states:
"Webydo generates a cross-platform code updated to the latest industry standards,
guaranteeing that your website will look exactly as planned on all browsers
and devices."I don't agree with this statement. My websites look very different in the editor vs. published on mobile therefore 'guaranteeing that they look exactly planned on mobile' is not correct & misleading.
Mobile is the future. We need this function to work correctly ASAP!

There should be a way to add the widgets to the mobile sites like the Music Player and Calendar.

This is the same request as "Mobile version?". The votes should be combined.
