It would be great to have rollover states for shapes and text boxes just like there is for menu buttons.
State behaviors, actions and animations. A mouse rollover to trigger a behavior like rotate, jiggle, or other cool animations. The ability to put a single animation on one object. Would love to see this stuff added.
Rollover color for shapes/text ;)
It would be great if you can have an option that activates a rollover state for an image, like the one that you can do in the menu option. I hope that could be integrated as soon as possible, it would be awesome!
I work with a lot of photographers and build a lot of portfolio style websites for my clients. So I really need a solution that has more flexibility for gallery layouts. A drag and drop gallery interface would be awesome! Or at least options like masonry or grid with the ability to choose the sizing the images. (The current gallery styles with little thumbnails feel a little old school to me.)
I was also disappointed that there isn't a way to add hover effects to images. Since I work with a lot of photographers, we often use picture links. So hover effects are pretty important to the design.
The interface is fairly intuitive, I like the ability to manage multiple sites and have hosting taken care of. I also like the ability to have a branded back-end. However, the current limitations with galleries and image hovers means Webydo is not currently a good solution for my client base. Too bad. I see potential and would consider Webydo if the features I mentioned were added.
I would dearly love to be able to create an image and have a rollover with a different image or colored text box. See: http://www.nbbj.com/ideas/ for what I am talking about.
Would be great to have control over the link states.
Thanks Jaiden Leach!
We are currently in the last stages of planning the “States” feature.
Hopefully it will be developed and released as soon as possible.
Any update on this? Just signed up for an account and working on my first site and see this isn't available yet and the design has been approved... didn't think this wouldn't be a standard feature.
It would be great if the rollover-picture doesnt have to be the same size as the picture. So if you have the mousebutton on a 20x20-box a 40x20-box can appear for example.
Sounds good Alana! Rollover states is maybe one of the most effective tools to make a really simple website look professional.
Need remote rollovers to begin using Webydo also. Please add this functionality.
It's coming soon!
The Webydo Team
The unavailability of this mysterious "States" feature is probably the one thing stopping me from signing up for an account.
Would be great to add "fade out" to the caption transition as well.
Obviously in this way the caption has to be visible by default and disappearing in rollover state.
an example here: http://jlcg.pt/
I need this to create a one page website. The text act as a menu linking to anchors. The user will understand it's a menu with the ROLLOVER effect applied to the text. Without it it only looks as text.
This is really annoying and a basic features we should have.

When will rollover state for objects, images, text and shapes be available? I need this for social media image links.
We really need this
Seriously, this is a basic web designers requirement - 'last stages of planning' 18 months ago.
I can't believe you can't do this. When is it coming?
This is a basic need. Any updates on it?

Any updates on the progress of this?? Really keen to use this feature.
Would also be useful the ability to invert the text caption function. I explain it better: now by default captions become active in rollover state. I would like to see caption active by default and disappear in rollover state. Here an example http://jlcg.pt/
Thanks in advance,
In the last stages for a year? Are you serious?
Yes! Looking forward to this feature.
I'm very interested in a remote rollover state, especially swap out of a remote image to a different image for each text link in a list of text links. Is this possible now? If not when can we expect this feature?

CSS provides this feature though vendor specific styles.. -moz-radius, -o-gradient, etc... it is there it just can not be validated through W3C <http:w3.org>
Any update on the rollover states? Would definitely love to have rollover image links.
