        Good question Shaun.

If you wan’t to embed HTML to your site, you may do so in 2 ways:

        1. In order to add/edit code, in the studio, click on the “Pages” link on the top menu. Next to each of your site’s pages, you will find the “Add Code” option.

        2. Use the Widget element, available in the top elements menu. Choose the HTML option, and paste your code. For more info, check this out:

      • Image Link to File or popup of larger image

I'd like to be able to add a link to a file (PDF, Word Doc, etc.) or pop-up of a larger image. I'm going to try a work-around with adding a transparent text box with a link in some text, but this feature would e great for people want to show a thumbnail image to open up to either a file or image.

          Hi Mary,

There are a few options to go about this.

You can link an image to pop-up:
          - Insert the full size image
          - Make it smaller
          - Adjust the size using the “fitting” on the right side panel and the zoom on the top panel to create a perfect thumbnail
          - On the top panel in the “link” options select “pop-up”

You can link a text or an image to a file:
          - Insert a textbox
          - You can either use text to create this link or remove all text and use the small image icon to insert an image into the textbox
          - Mark the text/image and select the link icon on the small menu on the top of the textbox
          - Select “link to file” and upload the file
In the “target” section select the “pop-up” option and adjust the settings

          Please make sure to hit…

        • Dead End Menu Buttom

          Hello! :)

In my menu pages there are some pages that are only there, so people that are seeing my website, can go to the subpages.

I wish there was a dead end buttom so people couldn't click on some pages because those pages are only there to connect other pages.

For example: imagine I have a page called "Courses" and then I have sub pages called "Make-up Course" and "Hair Style Course". In this case, I don't want the page "Courses" to have any link attached, because this page is only there so I can open the other 2…

I would like to upload an image to use as a thumbnail when posting my website to facebook. Or, I would like to be able to select which image on my page to use for the facebook thumbnail on my website.

              Hi Jon,

The way every link you enter into Facebook gets structured into a post with a title, an image, the URL and a description is called the Open Graph Protocol.

It was launched by Facebook in 2010 as a means of standardizing how all the different types of content across the web should be structured on social networking platforms.

              All this is done automatically.

Luckily, there is a way to customize your definitions.

This may only be done by adding Open Graph tags to your site:

In Webydo’s Studio, open the “Pages” menu, and then choose to add code to a page.

For a custom image, the tag you need to add to the HEAD section of your page looks like this:

              meta property=“og:image” content=“http://example.com/picture.jpg

For a custom title, you need to add to the HEAD section of your page looks like this:

              meta property=“og:title” content=“Your Title”

            • Slide Gallery can go both directions.

The horizontal slide gallery can go left to right, or right to left.
Right now you have no option on that. A simple adjustment to this gallery will make it even better.

                Hi Vafa,

That’s a great idea – as well as simple tweak that will appeal to many of our users. Let’s turn to our community and hear what people think about this one.

Hi Dezmond, thanks for the idea.

We will take this under consideration for the next round of plugins.

Meanwhile, you may use the HTML Element to embed 3rd party plugins.

Get in touch with your account manager for assistance, they will be happy to help you with it.

                  Thanks!

                • after editing text you can access the move handles more quickly

As it is now, after editing text you have to click out of the text box and then go back and click the box again to activate the move handles - move handles should just automatically appear once your done editing the text and you click on the box

In the Layers window, it would be great to have an icon indicating that a layer repeats across multiple pages... like, "hey, i'm a repeating image."

                            Thanks for the idea.

If you are talking about a form, this is already available.

Drag and drop the Form element and design it as you like.

If this is not what you are talking about, please let us know.

                          • Moving and duplicating pages between menus

At the moment in "Pages" we can move and duplicate a page within a single menu, but we can't duplicate and/or move a page from one menu to another, which means that if want to do either of these things we have to recreate it again from scratch and which is an incredible waste of time.

So it would be really useful if we could have this option please?

                              Hi David,

Moving a page from one menu to another is possible.

Click the Pages link on the top menu or the Plus + button on the page tabs bar to open the Pages & Navigation window.

There you will find the “Included In” field.

Included In enables you to move the page between menus if you have more than one menu. If you want a page included in more than one menu, leave the page in one of the menus and create a LINK to the page in the other menu.

Webydo is a very nice product. Thanks! I think it would be great to use Vimeo within the Articles Elements. Right now I can only use 'video'. Is it possible you change/build something to bypass 'video' with a kind of Widget-Vimeo-URL-trick within Articles? Would be great!

                                • Colored text for numbers in a numbered list.

Seems pretty basic... coloring the numbers of a numbered list so they're consistent with your text color. Currently, black appears to be the only option.

                                    Hi Ben,
If you choose a style for the whole element, that style’s color will affect everything, including the numbers.
Any edit you will make in the right panels will do that. If you want every number to have different color – do it the same way since each paragraph (separated by the enter key) can have it’s own style inside the Text Element.

It would be cool to be able to, once clicked on the image that has pop up option selected, move between all the pop up images on the page. Previous and next buttons could be visible if you can move between the images on the page.

                                      Hi,
Navigating between pop-up images is a great idea, we will look into it.
Let’s see what the community thinks about it.

                                    • Non-editable CMS

It would be helpful if most elements on a page are non-editable. I only want a minute portion in a page that's editable by my client and it's tedious that I have to go through every element in a page to make them non-editable. Alternatively, give designers a choice when they start the design phase if they want most of the page/s editable or not. Thanks.

                                        Hi Diana,

We appreciate you feedback, however we are not sure your request is clear to us. Currently, you can define the content manager’s type of abilities as:

                                        - Content Editing: enable the CMS user to edit existing content and duplicate whole pages. These users do not have access to design tools and to elements marked with Non-Editable by CMS.

                                        - Full Design Abilities: enable the CMS user to have the same exact privileges that you do in terms of designing their website.

Please let us know is you find the “Content Editing” privileges insufficient to you needs.

If I have a vertical menu and then decide I want to change to horizontal, I have to delete my menu and then drag a new one out and reformat all my styling options again.
