You can now fully customize your own 404 Error page.

Tip: Design an appealing message on your 404 page so visitors will understand what happened and what they can do next.
        You can see ours here.

        How to work it?
        - For new sites: When you create a new site, a “404 Error page” will be part of your page list so you’ll be able to fully design it just like any other page.

        - For existing sites: In your Studio’s “Pages” menu, create a new page and make sure that the URL property is set to www.yoursite.com/404.html

        What do you think?

AdminAlana (Head of Support, Webydo) commented  ·

        Hello AFE,

        This is already available :)

When you create a site the "404 error page" will be part of your page list so that you can fully design it just like any other page in your site.

Please contact support@webydo.com if you need any help.

You are absolutely right, removing styles is a must!

This is planned, and I hope will be done as soon as possible.

We will update you when ready, thanks!

          Hello,

I would be happy to give you an update on this feature.

It's currently on the roadmap for a future update, but as it's not an urgent issue it's been pushed back a bit.

          We will keep you updated!

          Alana

AdminAlana (Head of Support, Webydo) commented  ·

          Hi Jeremy,
In my opinion, it doesn't really matter why we haven't developed a feature yet, or what are the risks.
The only thing that matters is the users' needs.
If one user needs a feature, we will develop it.
If enough users need it, it will be developed before other features.

Our roadmap is updated on a weekly basis, and as of today, we have other features planned to be developed before, based on multiple parameters that form the user needs list.

The ability to remove styles is planned, and I hope we will be able to provide a time estimation soon.

AdminAlana (Head of Support, Webydo) commented  ·

Sorry this is taking too long. I don't have any updates yet, but will update you as soon as possible.

            Hi Roger,
That’s an excellent idea! A way to organize your files and integrate replacements would be a great addition to the studio. We will look into this while feedback is gathered, thank you for your suggestion!

            Hey James,

            Thank you for this suggestion.

That's a great way to expand the use of the Media Library and it would be a great addition to the studio.

I will pass this on to our product team :)

Thank you for your suggestion. We will look into adding the ability to upload file links to all elements within the Webydo Elements Panel.

In the meantime, we have a solution for you:

The option for link to file is only available via the text element, however there is a way around this. When using the Text Element once your file us uploaded a new URL is generated. Use this as your link with any other element!

              1. Within the text-box, mark the text you would like to link and click the Link icon on the top menu.

              2. Select the File option from the dropdown menu in the Link To field.

              3. Choose and Upload your File
              4. Copy the URL generated for your file link
              5. Use this URL for any other element to link

AdminAlana (Head of Support, Webydo) commented  ·

Once files are uploaded to the Webydo server (from linking it to text) it's converted into a URL.

You can then use this URL to link to any element in Webydo - including buttons.

                Hello,

You can add a site border in Site Presets from within the Studio.

This can be found under Settings.

                  Hi David,
You are able to provide you CMS with full design abilities, in order to be able to edit the site just like a DMS can.

In the Dashboard, click the settings icon, and select the CMS tab. Choose “Full Design Abilities”.

We are excited to announce that we have just finished the development process of “Anchor Links” (the ability to add links to a specific part in the same page).

We also added smoothness to the anchor links scrolling.

This feature had many designer votes and was inspired by your requests.

How to create an anchor link:
Choose any element you want, click “Edit” and select “Set as Anchor Link”.
You may now link to it as you would do with any other link.

                    That’s it…

                    Enjoy!

Hi Roberto, thanks for reaching out!

We have just recently added the ability to add custom HTML and CSS to sites, and comments like this will help us improve it as we constantly work to base the updates on user feedback.

Adding more CSS control, by displaying the names seems like a great idea.

We will take this under consideration for our next updates.

We have just released the Lightbox Element. It allows you to create a button that will display any web page in a popup window, dimming out the background of the page on which it is located.

                          Where to find it:
In the Studio’s Elements Panel, open the “Gallery” category, and just drag & drop the “Lightbox” Element onto your canvas.

                          Hope you like it!

You are able to create a light-box window with different content in it, using the "Pop-Up" element, located under the Widgets category, in the left elements panel.

By the way, the "Pop-Up" element is a plugin.

Sorry for not providing any updates on this one.
The Layers Window upgrade is in the top of the list, and as soon as we release the feature request that have higher votes, we will get to this one.
I hope we will be able to provide some type of time prediction soon, but not at the moment.

                              I'll keep you updated.

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for the patience.

Daniel, it sounds like your are talking about the feature that all mobile browsers have, to some degree, making phone numbers (i.e. 1-800-888-8888) into clickable links. When a user clicks on the link, it will invoke the phone calling app, pre-populated with the phone number.

It seems other ideas are always ahead of this one, and get developed first.
The idea needs some more votes to get into production.

                                      Sorry about that.

It is positioned very high on our list. We even already have the plans and design of the interface ready, but unfortunately, we don't have a time-frame I can share with confidence.

I'll inform you when we have an update.

                                      Hi Aaron.

Although this is planned, there is no ETA to be provided at moment.
We'll keep you updated when an ETA is available.

We’re happy to announce that you now have the ability to add your own code to any section of your Webydo sites.

You may add and edit code in the site’s and sections in order to have full control of your site, and to be able to easily embed widgets that need code to be added to different sections of a page.

You may also add code to your site’s CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) document, if you wish to do so.

In order to add/edit code, in the studio, click on the “Pages” link on the top menu. Next to each of your site’s pages, you will find the “Add Code” option.

                                          Hope you like it :)

Thiago, you are only able to add more code, but not to edit the generated code.

Hi Alexandra, We have just released today the Lightbox Element.

                                            There is a way:

Select the Lightbox Element and set 2 properties:

                                            1. Properties Panel:
Set the button's "Background Color" to "Transparent".

                                            2. Design Panel:
Open the "Fill" section and upload an "Background Image".
