Oh.. I have just read your second comment. "Cover" stretches your images, if their proportion is smaller than the container. In this case, you shouldn't use "Cover". I would recommend for the thumbnails to use "Contain".

AdminAlana (Head of Support, Webydo) commented  ·

Thumbnails also have the “Image Fitting: Cover” option. Did you try it?

It seems you are asking for something very specific, and I would recommend for you to talk about it with your Account Manager.

Tell him to contact me if needed.

Have you tried using the "Shape" element, setting it as "Fit to With", and setting the Shape's Background Image Size as "Fill"?

Let me know if this helps.

We are supposed to release it two weeks from today, but I have a feeling it will be much, much sooner...

By the way, this should be available to sites already created, so it shouldn't stop you from starting a new site.

                        Hi!

Webydo allows you to crop the images using the “zoom” option.

If you want to use just a portion of the image, this is how it’s done:

Choose an image and click the Zoom button to open a slider. To fine-tune the portion that you want to show, press and hold the mouse button inside the zoom frame and drag it to position.

At any time in the future, you may click the Reset button to cancel the change.

Hey Svein, have you attempted using the zoom tool?
In general Webydo is not made fro cropping images and we strongly advise to upload your images already prepped and web- compatible.
The zoom is a great tool for creating thumbnails and linking them to reveal the full size image using the "pop-up" link.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

This feature has been improved and expanded, in order to provide a more comprehensive solution for both studios and agencies.

This will allow designers to custom-brand Webydo’s interface and present it to their clients as their own.

We are constantly adding more and more custom-branding abilities to Webydo.

You are granted with your own log-in page, displaying your own logo, so your clients will be able to log-in directly to their websites, in order to manage content, without having to go through Webydo at all.

Branding is a key element for any designer. Whether you own a large company or you are a freelancer, your brand is your identity.

We have just added the ability to upload files directly from the text editor.

In order to link to a file, go to your text editor and click the "link to" button and choose "link to file" - You will be able to upload your file as a link.

You may upload an almost unlimited list of file types, including PDF and WORD files.

Hey guys! Guess what? We just launched ‘The Media Library’!

The new Media Library stores all your images online in one place – so It works like a cloud, meaning that you will be able to access them anytime, anywhere.

The best part of all is all you have to do is upload the image just like you always do and it will be automatically stored in the library.

You may also upload your all images at once to the Media Library, and then you are free to work fully online.

Enjoy this new feature and please try it and send us your feedback so we can continue to polish it off for you.

Keep on Designing on! Rock on Webydo’ers!

                                  Hi guys,

It seems we keep breaking promises with the media library :(
I know this is not good, believe me, it is frustrating for us too.

I can assure you that the Media Library is on the top of our "To Do" list. As it seems, it is a matter of weeks until it is released, but I guess this is not the first time we have said that regarding the library.

Scott, I will make sure our team contacts you in order to give you more detailed info regarding the development of this feature.

You should know that we release a new version once or twice a week with new features and improvements in order to make the Webydo experience the best possible..

Thanks again for all your feedback!

Hi guys, sorry for the time it is taking us to release the new Media Library.

We were focusing on the new Mobile Editor feature and system stability for the last weeks.

I really think we will be able to release the Media Library this month.

I will keep you up to date, thanks for your patience.

We had to focus on the new mobile and tablet editors, so it is taking us time to release the media library. I hope we will have it ready soon.

                                  Thanks!

We are working very hard on releasing the "Cross Platform" features and the "Blog" features. After those will be released we should release the Media Library.

                                    Hi everyone,

We want to let you know that we have a new feature: Page Visibility.

This new feature lets you control the visibility of each page on your website.
In the Webydo Studio, you can define any page as public, private or password protected.

Public: visible to everyone (default setting).
Private: visible only in the Webydo Studio.
Password Protected: visible only upon entering a username and password (these values remain the same regardless of page).

                                    How It Works:
Go to the Pages & Navigation window.
Choose the page you wish to edit.
                                    Click the Settings Icon.
Under Visibility choose: Public, Private or Password Protected (for this option you must enter a username and password).
                                    Click OK and Publish.

Thank you for the feedback, if you have more questions please contact our support team.

Under the “My Branding” tab on the dashboard, there is a section called “Publish Sites Under Your Own Domain Name”.

This will allow you to connect your own domain name and publish sites under your own name.

Instead of publishing sites under Webydo’s sub-domain like this: site123.webydo.com,
publish your sites under your own domain, like this: site123.yourowndomain.com.

Regarding the need to change the URL name, that can be done clicking the "SEO" tab of the page settings.

                                        Thanks again for your feedback!

The main idea is that when you start designing your websites, you can publish unlimited websites on Webydo’s sub-domain for free.

Only when your client’s site is ready to be published on its own domain, you and your client should get a Premium Plan for your site.

Purchasing a plan allows you to add your own domain name, so you will not need a sub-domain at all.

                                        Isn’t this fair?

I wanted to let you all know we have released a new service called “Bill my Client” with Webydo.

Webydo’s new “Bill Your Client” service gives designers the ability to bill their client for every project and or service directly from their Webydo dashboard.

Through this new highly secure and efficient automatic payment system, Webydo will take care of all your billing and payment services, leaving you with less stress and more time to focus on your beautiful website designs.

Let us know what you think about it!

                                          Yes Derrick!

Bill my client displays the currency based on the users current location. So when you send a billing request, the amount will displayed and charged based on your client's country's currency.

I know, there is no "auto-translate website" yet, but I think this tutorial might help a little:
