Next few months? So maybe January/February 2016? If the final product is good, I don't mind waiting until early next year.

Instead of having to manually create a new page and add a "Read More" link to each article entry, it would be great if blog entries could automatically be created as new pages. This way clients can easily add their own entries in the CMS without confusion and the designers assistance.

Amanda is completely right. To have to create a new page for every single blog entry and link it to the "Articles" section isn't exactly intuitive for the clients that would be using the feature in the CMS. It's overly complex. Both designers and clients should be able to write all the content at once and then pick a split mark for the summary.
I understand that figuring out the best way of auto creating the pages for the content and disqus comments section could be a very difficult undertaking but it's the only way to make an actual feature. However, I think the results would bring in some new customers on the fence about what visual design tool to pick.

I do like this idea, so long as I can decide not to have changes made to one page effect all other pages made with the template. Otherwise I would just use duplicate page. It would be very useful when needing to change a theme quickly by creating the template in a site and saving it to be used somewhere else.

Hi everyone,
We want to let you know that we have a new feature: Page Visibility.
This new feature lets you control the visibility of each page on your website.
In the Webydo Studio, you can define any page as public, private or password protected.Public: visible to everyone (default setting).
Private: visible only in the Webydo Studio.
Password Protected: visible only upon entering a username and password (these values remain the same regardless of page). How It Works:
Go to the Pages & Navigation window.
Choose the page you wish to edit.
Click the Settings Icon.
Under Visibility choose: Public, Private or Password Protected (for this option you must enter a username and password).
Click OK and Publish.Thank you for the feedback, if you have more questions please contact our support team.

I too have clients who need this feature. At this time I am using another solution but I would love to be able to use Webydo for all accounts.

Under the “My Branding” tab on the dashboard, there is a section called “Publish Sites Under Your Own Domain Name”.
This will allow you to connect your own domain name and publish sites under your own name.
Instead of publishing sites under Webydo’s sub-domain like this: site123.webydo.com,
publish your sites under your own domain, like this: site123.yourowndomain.com.Anonymous supported this idea ·

When previewing sites on different devices/computers before getting a domain name, having subdomains that all say "site###" is very confusing. I understand not wanting people using free subdomains but it makes it more difficult then it needs to be.

I know, there is no “auto-translate website” yet, but I think this tutorial might help a little:

I'd be very happy to see this. Being based in Los Angeles means that many potential clients will need at least a dual language website (possibly three). A server side way to switch languages would be fantastic.

You can now fully customize your own 404 Error page.
Tip: Design an appealing message on your 404 page so visitors will understand what happened and what they can do next.
You can see ours here. How to work it?
- For new sites: When you create a new site, a “404 Error page” will be part of your page list so you’ll be able to fully design it just like any other page.- For existing sites: In your Studio’s “Pages” menu, create a new page and make sure that the URL property is set to www.yoursite.com/404.html
What do you think?

Hi everyone,
We are happy to let you know that new galleries have been added in the studio.
You can find them in the Elements Panel on the left, just drag and drop them onto the canvas. Each gallery has it’s own unique editing options which you may change within the Design Panel.
Try them and tell us what you think, and keep suggesting new ideas.

I would love to see this. There are places I can do this outside of Webydo but it would be so much more convenient for me and for clients to have more options built in.

I need this for custom javascript widgets! For example, if I create a file that concatenates two variant values for certain images within a precise folder (ex: item1/green-shirt.jpg, item1/red-hoodie.jpg), and I want the script to pick the correct image based on the two variant values in the image name. The control over the image file name gives me control over creating unique simple scripts while my partner can still easily manipulate everything around the code :).
