Thanks, this is interesting.
Have you tried just adding images with opacity?
BTW, you may add a site background in the site presets, and then add different backgrounds for each page of your site (by clicking on the background of the page).
This way you get two backgrounds, one on top of the other. Then you may add opacity to one of them, and create transparency.
That’s a great idea Sol!

Thanks for the feedback Phil!
We do have an “App Market”, and we call it the “Widget” tool.
You use the widget tool to add whatever you want, and if it’s not there, you can add it by embedding html or by using Iframes.
This would be great!

Thanks for the idea!
I like the idea of being able to copy and paste between sites. There can sometimes be a lot of common Images/ icons used in a specific business category.
Thank you for the good idea!
Adding CAPTCHA (an acronym for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart") to the forms seems like the natural next step.
Thanks for the good feedback, we hope this feature’s development will be encouraged by the community’s voting.
Keep sharing your ideas with us! Things are getting more and more exciting here…
I have noticed an increase in spam mail to one of my sites which would be eliminated ( well nearly) by CAPTCHA. I think it is a must have.
Our Development team is researching the best way to integrate spell checking to Webydo’s text editor.
We will keep you guys up to date.
We have some exciting news. New buttons are now available in the Studio with rollover states and multiple animations and transition effects.
Not only do you have dozens of buttons to choose from, you are also able to customize the color, text and effects of the states to fit your design needs.
You can find these buttons in the Elements Panel under the Buttons drop-down and simply drag and drop them onto the canvas.
For more information on the new buttons: http://goo.gl/kE6A4F
Please try them and tell us what you think.
We want to let you know that we have a new feature: Page Visibility.
This new feature lets you control the visibility of each page on your website.
In the Webydo Studio, you can define any page as public, private or password protected.
Public: visible to everyone (default setting).
Private: visible only in the Webydo Studio.
Password Protected: visible only upon entering a username and password (these values remain the same regardless of page).
How It Works:
Go to the Pages & Navigation window.
Choose the page you wish to edit.
Click the Settings Icon.
Under Visibility choose: Public, Private or Password Protected (for this option you must enter a username and password).
Click OK and Publish.
Thank you for the feedback, if you have more questions please contact our support team.
Google Custom Search Plugin
We have added a new Search Plugin that’s Free! You can now add Google’s Custom Search box directly in the Webydo Studio.
With Google Custom Search you can:
- Create custom search engines that search across a specified collection of sites or pages
- Enable image search for your site
- Customize the look and feel of search results
- Add promotions to your search results
- Associate your search engine with your Google AdSense account, so you make money whenever users click ads on your search results pages.
We are happy to announce that we started planning a Mailchimp integration.
Thank you for all the votes.
This is a great Idea and I fully support it
Thanks for the feedback.
I will also let Anna and the rest of the support team know and see your idea, I am sure they will like it :)
Yes I think that it is important that the url shown on mobile is the same as that shown on desktop. It is confusing if it is not.
