        Hi Everyone,

We have some exciting news. New buttons are now available in the Studio with rollover states and multiple animations and transition effects.

Not only do you have dozens of buttons to choose from, you are also able to customize the color, text and effects of the states to fit your design needs.

You can find these buttons in the Elements Panel under the Buttons drop-down and simply drag and drop them onto the canvas.

For more information on the new buttons: http://goo.gl/kE6A4F

Please try them and tell us what you think.

            Hi Nathan,

Great thinking! Lets hear from the rest of our community, and prioritise the development of a designated feature according to it. In the meantime, you can achieve this functionality using a simple hack:

Step 1: Publish your site and navigate to the page you’d like to link to

Step 2: Find the target element you’d like to use as an anchor link and highlight it

Step 4: Right-click your mouse and select “Inspect Elements” (Chrome & Firefox) and find the element name (div ID), separated by quotation marks from the code. A typical name would be innerImage45__Image45, innerText32__Text32 etc.

Step 4: Create a new Url combining the page full URL followed by # and the div ID. A typical URL would be http://domainname.com/#innerImage62__Image62

Step 5: Add link to your menu, define it as “External Link” and link it to the URL you have created

            If you need any…

Ditto... We're struggling to figure out a work-around solution to this problem.

If you've designed a scrolling website/homepage which has other pages to expand content sections, and your primary navigation has both anchor links and links to other pages... you get lost in having the ability to link back to those anchor links on the homepage in any subsequent secondary page within your website.

No elegant solution. Trying to cobble together a hackneyed approach, which is becoming frustrating.

Can anyone from the Webydo team update us on the status of this? Is it in the queue or not?

We are very happy to let you know that you can now add a custom menu suited for mobile devices.

This is what you can do:
Changing position, size, fill, stroke and shadow of the menu button.
Replacing the “Hamburger” icon with any other icon you wish.
Applying different attributes to the menu items.
Setting where the menu will appear when the icon is clicked.

                To Work It:
Drag and drop the menu element to your canvas, and choose the “Mobile Menu” mode.

We’ll be happy to hear what you think of it, by commenting to this post.

                Thanks!

We have just released the Lightbox Element. It allows you to create a button that will display any web page in a popup window, dimming out the background of the page on which it is located.

                  Where to find it:
In the Studio’s Elements Panel, open the “Gallery” category, and just drag & drop the “Lightbox” Element onto your canvas.

                  Hope you like it!

The ability to link to another website within a lightbox image, would be key too. Having a CTA button is important for many gallery styled portfolio websites/etc.

Although integrating these kind of plugins as an internal part of the Webydo Studio is a great idea, you may download any plugin, and incorporate it to your site, using the “Add code” options.

For example, in the “Pages” menu you have the “add code” option. This will allow you to add your own HTML and CSS (the CSS code added will only affect the HTML code added by you).

You may also use the “Widget Element” and choose “HTML” in order to add code to a specific part of your site.

These plugins usually consist of chunks of codes you need to copy and paste to your site, so following their instructions will allow you to add them to your Webydo site.

This is another great way to customize your site.

If you encounter any difficulties with this, make sure you reach our support team through the…

True, but only to a degree. For most, and specifically something like Slider Revolution (or any other slider JQuery plugin), you need to be able to edit the <head> tag and inject custom coding.

Which is impossible to do at this point in Webydo.

                      Hi Silvana and everyone,
We are happy to let you know that new galleries have been added in the studio, including a thumbnail gallery.
You can find them in the Elements Panel on the left, just drag and drop them onto the canvas. Each gallery has it’s own unique editing options which you may change within the Design Panel.
Try them and tell us what you think.

Maybe allowing other third-party developed plugins would allow for faster and easier implementation of high demand features, such as this one. (?)
