I have seen this request in various forms all over this forum - I believe Webydo are missing the point - we want video playing in the background e.g. in a header with the ability to overlay text, shapes etc, Strikingly are able to do this, weebly (with DIv Tag template), and Blocsapp has it road mapped for this month; these requests started back in March - when will it happen. Your own homepage has this feature So why can't we? (Especially as i thought it was built using webydo!!)

ability to add video to header and be able to overlay text, shape etc would be better e.g. paypal website, http://www.madebyhangar.com, or webydo!

    Hi Samuel,

If you wish to use the Video element, you should upload your video to Youtube or Vimeo, and then embed it in Webydo’s Video element.

You may then set it to fit the width of your site, and have it play in loop.

Would be great if the blog automatically integrated the "articles" already created in a seamless way - not critical however, better to have a top performing blog facility then suffering a bit of inconvenience adding in old articles later. Any timescale please for the blogging feature.

Important that each post has seo facility as any other page. We all know how google loves fresh content and this is one easy way of doing this provided we help google "find" our new content easily

Disagree with the need for a template for every industry e.g. within "restaurant" you could have anything fro a cafe to a michelin starred restaurant - theres no way you could devise one template to cover the lot! There where design (and choice) comes in. We just need robust class-leading native features e.g. improved blogging and e-commerce

Hi Liam, thanks for the idea!

Social icons are frequently used, and having them ready to use will for sure be very handy.

We have added this idea to our plans. We will update you here when it’s ready.

    Thanks!

Being able to customise the icons eg colour (or transparent), shape, size etc would help provide that bespoke look as opposed to an "off the shelf/clip-art" look

    Hi Everyone,

We have some exciting news. New buttons are now available in the Studio with rollover states and multiple animations and transition effects.

Not only do you have dozens of buttons to choose from, you are also able to customize the color, text and effects of the states to fit your design needs.

You can find these buttons in the Elements Panel under the Buttons drop-down and simply drag and drop them onto the canvas.

For more information on the new buttons: http://goo.gl/kE6A4F

Please try them and tell us what you think.
