Hi Andreas,
Thats a great idea, uploading directly from the media library to the site presets will be a good addition to the studio.
Thank you for your suggestion, we will look into it while it gathers votes.James Barnard supported this idea ·

Really looking forward to this update. This will be a next level game changer saving massive amounts of time. I can see a possible interim feature, maybe easier to develop would be a "Custom Elements" sidebar. So you would have the ability to save your favorite group of design elements or perhaps within a 'section" and add them to your own personal library to be used in other sites when desired

Simply adding the ability to integrate with Stripe would be a huge upgrade. As of now the experience is not optimal because Webydo forces anything with a javascript lightbox behavior to pop into an iframe.
Stripe has most of the functionality needed for simple ecommerce (minus shipping etc.) but if someone wants to just offer subscription pricing or a fee on a project – Stripe is a great option... but the lightbox thing makes it less than desireable

Hi Roberto, thanks for reaching out!
We have just recently added the ability to add custom HTML and CSS to sites, and comments like this will help us improve it as we constantly work to base the updates on user feedback.
Adding more CSS control, by displaying the names seems like a great idea.
We will take this under consideration for our next updates.

This feature has been improved and expanded, in order to provide a more comprehensive solution for both studios and agencies.
This will allow designers to custom-brand Webydo’s interface and present it to their clients as their own.
We are constantly adding more and more custom-branding abilities to Webydo.
You are granted with your own log-in page, displaying your own logo, so your clients will be able to log-in directly to their websites, in order to manage content, without having to go through Webydo at all.
Branding is a key element for any designer. Whether you own a large company or you are a freelancer, your brand is your identity.

Hi James,
Once again thank you for your wonderful suggestion. We are glad to let you know that we have something very similar in the works. The development we are working on will let you save whole sections of your site to be used on any website in your account, accompanied with readymade elements. We will let you know when it’s available, and please keep suggesting ideas!

Hi everyone,
A search box is now available along with group of other new third party plugins that can be easily dragged and dropped directly onto your canvas. Ranging from chat windows to social media bars and eCommerce buttons, these are just some of the latest additions to the Elements Panel in the Webydo Studio.
Please try them and tell us what you think, thanks for all the feedback.

I love the idea of a "widgets market place" or a reusable widget function. I would like to be able to build design elements, group them, and then save them for future use with other websites

I agree. 3 votes on that one. I have also experienced broadband delays, and I am in southern California. An all Web app does have limitations. I can see Webydo having a huge competitive advantage over other design driven website builder on the market with a desktop Application that syncs to the web... similar to the "PUBLISH" feature.
I can see an Adobe Air Application being a good fit for this so it would be cross platform (mac, PC, linux) Similar to what Evernote offers

Hi everyone,
We are happy to announce that we started planning a Mailchimp integration.Thank you for all the votes.

Definitely agreed! and the ability to inherit design styes from webydo would be awesome. So the design wouldn't be the default Mailchimp look and feel, but it could inherit the basic styles of the website or there could be a simple WYSIWYG CSS editor, much like the DESIGN PANEL.

Hi everyone,
The new buttons are now available in the Studio!
You have several kinds of buttons. Change the color, text and effects to design it for your needs.
You can find the them in the Elements Panel under the Buttons dropdown, just drag and drop to the canvas and edit in the Properties Panel. Please try them and tell us what you think.

Hi everyone.
It seems that the development of HTML removal will be delayed, as other features with higher votes are being developed first.Keep voting for this idea in order to ensure it will be added to the development plans as soon as possible.

We have just released the Lightbox Element. It allows you to create a button that will display any web page in a popup window, dimming out the background of the page on which it is located.
Where to find it:
In the Studio’s Elements Panel, open the “Gallery” category, and just drag & drop the “Lightbox” Element onto your canvas.Hope you like it!

Yes, please create this! this is something that is currently holding me back from on boarding more clients. A light box that can show a video or present and optin or login screen or any other HTML that is put into it. Currently the HTML widget shows up in an iFrame not allowing the Lightbox behavior. I agree with the original post. If you simply added more options to the existing Lightbox feature for images that seems like it would do the trick.

Yes, this option would be great. They do this well with Instapage.com. Something similar would be really nice

Ye - and to add to this ... It would be really nice to be able to source images I have already uploaded and apply them to various features that use images:
For example:
• Hover Effects and Other Gallery Features
• Sections
• Replacing Existing images
All of the menu's for those features only allow you to upload new images.
It would be nice to have every feature that uses images to be able to source them from the media gallery. This would allow a designer to add all the images needed to the media gallery at once, and then source them from there when building the site.
See screen shots for a few use cases:
