Mailchimp intergration with forms feature
It would be great if you could integrate mailchimp into the forms feature so when the site user fills in the fields the information gets added to mail chimp lists. I believe this can be done through using an API key the link is below.
(Also from reading there page it looks as if they fund API integrations)
http://apidocs.mailchimp.com/
Mailchimp is great for marketing newsletters and general mailing lists. But there form builder is well rubbish…and very unflexible when adding it to the html widget.
It would be awesome to add this feature to your amazing service. Love what you guys are doing.
Thanks
Jazz

Hi David,
MainChimp widget is planned to be released soon. Please tell us what you would like to use the integration for so we will be better informed.
Thank you for the suggestion, keep suggesting new ideas. -

Definitely agreed! and the ability to inherit design styes from webydo would be awesome. So the design wouldn't be the default Mailchimp look and feel, but it could inherit the basic styles of the website or there could be a simple WYSIWYG CSS editor, much like the DESIGN PANEL.

I agree with the previous comment about needing API integration for all emails but I also think it should go beyond that and provide API's for things like OpenSRS as well PLEASE

MailChimp is really just the tip of the iceberg. Webydo really needs an open api so that integration with any email provider (MailChimp, Awebber, Infusionsoft, Emma, etc) is possible. Without such integration, a website has zero utility and exists only to look pretty and communicate one-way. Bottom line, support of automated marketing platforms (Infusionsoft, HubSpot, Marketo, ActiveDEMAND) via API and web hooks will solidify Webydo's position at the forefront of web technology and online marketing. That's where the real money is! That's where the real need is!

Can we use i-frame to embed a mailchimp form or wouldn't that work either?

What!!! this feature is not available on Webydo? you mean we can't embed MailChimp opt-in form on Webydo site? it's so common on all other platform. :(

The best would be an intergrated mailsystem in Webydo like the one Business Catalyst has :)
